MetaQuotes, the developer of MetaTrader 5, has published a feature on UniPayment’s built-in payment integration, featuring a conversation with UniPayment Co-Founder Paul Mendoza recorded at iFX EXPO International 2026.

In the feature, MetaQuotes presents UniPayment as a global payment provider integrated with MetaTrader 5’s built-in payment system. Paul discusses UniPayment’s collaboration with MetaQuotes, how the integration was developed, and why a more direct account funding experience matters to brokers and their clients.

A More Direct Account Funding Journey

MetaQuotes notes that funding a trading account has traditionally required traders to visit the broker’s website, log in to the client area, select a trading account and then complete the payment. Each additional step increases the possibility that the transaction will be postponed or abandoned.

With MetaTrader 5’s integrated payment system, traders can initiate deposits directly from the trading platform without navigating separately through the broker’s website and client area. This creates a more direct route from starting a deposit to completing the payment.

UniPayment’s Built-in MT5 Integration

UniPayment is integrated with MetaTrader 5’s built-in payment system and is available through MetaTrader Administrator.

Brokers can find UniPayment in the platform’s payment provider directory and begin the connection process there, rather than building a separate custom connection. Commercial, compliance and configuration requirements must be completed before activation.

UniPayment’s MT5 solution is available through the platform’s built-in payment infrastructure without requiring custom broker-side coding.

Through the integration, UniPayment works with brokers on the payment methods, settlement arrangements and configuration required for launch. Available services depend on the broker’s operating markets, business model, relevant UniPayment entity and onboarding outcome.
